South Africa is a country on the southernmost tip of the African continent, marked by several distinct ecosystems. Inland safari destination Kruger National Park is populated by big game. The Western Cape offers beaches, lush winelands around Stellenbosch and Paarl, craggy cliffs at the Cape of Good Hope, forest and lagoons along the Garden Route, and the city of Cape Town, beneath flat-topped Table Mountain.




Itinerary Details

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport. On arrival, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to explore on your own. Explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront for some great restaurants and nightlife. This is one of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions. This busy harbour is set in the midst of the huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, crafts markets, theatres and lots more. Situated between Robben Island and Table Mountain, in the heart of Cape Town’s harbour, and set with a magnificent backdrop of the sea and mountains. Overnight at the selected hotel.

After breakfast proceed for half day Cape Town City tour including tickets up to the Table Mountain (weather permitting). Take the cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain and get spectacular views of the entire city and the surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. Then we visit the country’s oldest building, The Castle and the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating. Our drive continues past Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge. Colonial changes to colourful as we move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes. The day ends on a sparkling note, as we trace the moves of a professional diamond cutter, as he creates diamonds. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

After breakfast, proceed for a full day Peninsula Tour – its wild, its rugged and is one of the most memorable coastlines, Cape Peninsula and the splendor of Cape Point. We begin our journey cruising along Millionaires Paradise – look at the glamorous homes and beautiful people of Clifton Beach and Camps Bay. From here we wind our way towards the charming coastal town and working harbour of Hout Bay, then hug the cliffs as we proceed along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive with its breathtaking views towards the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park and its rugged landscape. Take an optional trip to Boulders Beach penguin colony (on own account), a fascinating excursion before we move on to the historical naval port of Simon’s Town. Overnight at the hotel. (B)

After breakfast check out and proceed to Knysna. En-route do the Cape Winelands tour at Stellenbosch – with its Cape Dutch architecture and the wonderful heart of the Cape Winelands and is surrounded by stunning wine estates. Explore the fine art galleries and the curios and quaint shops here. First take a leisurely drive to acquaint you with the beauty of this world-renowned region, before inducting you into the wine-making process in a fascinating cellar tour. And when the wine is made, it needs to be tasted. Take the cruise on the Knysna Lagoon on board the John Benn to the secluded Featherbed Nature Reserve, home to the blue duiker, Knysna Loerie and other exquisite feathered friends. From there we take a 4 x 4 trailer ride to the summit where you can get a panoramic view of the Knysna Basin and way out to the sea. Knysna is renowned for its age-old towering milk-wood trees and we amble through the cool forest, hugging the breath-taking coastline and head for a buffet lunch served in an outdoor restaurant under the canopy of gentle milk-wood trees. Evening back to the hotel. Overnight at the selected hotel. (B)

You begin your day with a spectacular drive over the Outenique Mountain Pass into the feather capital of the world, Oudtshoorn, where you’ll get up close and personal with ostriches on a Karoo ostrich farm. You’ll have the opportunity to go right into the Cango Caves with its magnificent dripstone formations of stalactites and stalagmites. You’ll visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch to marvel at crocodiles, snakes and numerous big and beautiful cats of the wild variety. As we said, a day of wild contrasts in Oudtshoorn, but likely to produce a feather in your cap! Back to Knysna. Overnight at the selected hotel. (B)

After breakfast, transfer you to George airport which is an hour drive for your onward flight to Johannesburg. Arrive at Johannesburg airport and transfer to Sun City (3 hrs.). Arrive at Sun City which is internationally renowned as Africa’s premier holiday resort. The fabulous resort complex captivates visitors with its combination of world class restaurants, casinos, golf, entertainment center and game safari. The resort is buzzing with activity any time of the day. Day at leisure to explore this wonderful complex on your own. Overnight at Sun City. (B)

After breakfast, the day is free to enjoy the golden city of fun and entertainment. Enjoy the games at the casinos, enjoy superb sporting facilities and glitzy extravaganza shows. Sun City is definitely where you want to be if you want action, choice and all night entertainment. Overnight at Sun City. (B)

After breakfast transfer to Johannesburg hotel. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. You can enjoy Pretoria city tour on own. Overnight at Johannesburg. (B)

After breakfast you will be transferred back to O R Tambo International Airport for your onward journey home. (B)
